OptimOZ was born out of personal frustration: the supplements that actually work — the ones researchers, physicians, and serious biohackers use — were nearly impossible to buy in Australia. We fixed that. Started by a customer, not a corporation In 2012, Kamal Patel was looking for the same things you probably are: a way to think more clearly, perform better, and stay healthy longer. The products that delivered results — the Bulletproof Coffee he'd discovered, the nootropics and smart supplements gaining traction overseas — simply weren't available in Australia at a reasonable price or with reliable delivery. So he built OptimOZ. A chance meeting with Dave Asprey, creator of Bulletproof Coffee, gave the store its first import partnership. But from the beginning, the mission was broader than any single brand: to bring the world's most rigorously vetted wellness products to Australian doorsteps. "We buy these products ourselves. If we wouldn't take it, we wouldn't stock it." Twelve years later, OptimOZ is Australia's home for longevity science — from NAD+ precursors and senolytics to the gut health compounds that, it turns out, Australians search for more than any other country on earth. The keto roots are still here. The biohacking philosophy never left. But the range, like the science, has grown. We operate out of Sydney with same or next-day dispatch, stock held locally, and a small team that actually knows what's in the products they're sending you.
